Ingredients

  • 250 g Lean ground turkey (93%)
  • 1 Large egg
  • 30 g Cheddar cheese
  • 120 g Cabbage & carrot (slaw)
  • 1 tbsp Light mayo & mustard

Equipment

  • non-stick skillet
  • grill pan

Method

  1. Mix the turkey with the egg and seasoning; form patties and grill or pan-cook.
  2. Melt the cheddar over the patties in the last minute.
  3. Toss the shredded cabbage and carrot with mayo-mustard and serve alongside.

Storage & make-ahead

Fridge: keeps 3–4 days in an airtight container — reheat gently. Most portions freeze well for up to 2 months; thaw overnight.

Tip

Serve bunless over the slaw, or in a lettuce 'bun'. The egg keeps lean turkey juicy.
